My Background
Through my various roles in venture capital, consumer tech, and entertainment, I have served as event planner, public relations manager, talent coordinator, associate producer, logistics and international travel coordinator.
Most recently, for over 15 years, I worked for the venture capital firm Sofinnova, directing events on an international scale. During my tenure there, I oversaw over 500 events, including the annual Sofinnova Japan Partnering Conference, as well as investor meetings, CEO conferences, cocktail parties and networking vacations with venture industry peers. The events I managed took place in a variety of locations, besides the SF Bay Area—Tokyo, Hawaii, Colorado, Jackson Hole, Utah, Chicago, Dallas, Austin, Miami, New York, Cabo, Cancun, Vancouver, Banff, Montreal, Paris, and Monaco. Prior to joining Sofinnova, I worked directly with the CEO and senior management of Monster Products, the San Francisco-based company behind Monster Cables and Beats Headphones. In Hollywood, I worked directly with the CEOs of both Creation Entertainment/Universal and The Firm Music Management, the powerhouse agents to rock stars and actors alike, and have also worked for Aviatrix Pictures. I received a B.A. in Marketing from California State University, Long Beach.
